Hattie says"Hooray!!!"
"You're Helping the HOUNDS!!!"
With the Help of Greyhound Rescue & Rehabilitation (GRR)
Hattie has recuperated from two operations to repair her leg, which was broken in a race.
She has been adopted and is living "Happily Ever After" with her new family in New Paltz, NY.
Ginger and Guinness, our beloved hounds, came to us through Greyhound Rescue and Rehabilitation. Greyhound Rescue & Rehabilitation (GRR) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit adoption/placement organization comprised of volunteers, dedicated to raising public awareness about retired racing Greyhounds. Our family has been active in volunteering with this organization, particularly through fostering and the “Meet and Greet” programs, since May 2005.
Every day, in all parts of the country, racing greyhounds are being retired due to injury, illness, or just for being too slow, often by a split second. GRR helps as often as it can, to the extent of it’s limited resources. Their goal is to purchase or build a facility enabling them to house, care for, rehabilitate and profile 30-40 greyhounds at a time.
You can help! Every $ counts! Help defray the costs of medical care or donate to the "kennel" fund! Let the hounds know you care!
YOU can make a difference!
